The Silver Falls Timber Company was located in Silverton, Oregon in Marion County. The company was founded ca. 1913 and became the largest lumber operation in Silverton, quickly surpassing the Silverton Lumber Company (founded in 1906). Myron C. Woodard was the manager of the company. In 1916, a $500,000 sawmill was built on the edge of Silverton to process the lumber produced by the company's logging camps operating nearby. The Silver Falls Timber Company closed in 1947. (Sources: "Silverton to Get $500,000 Sawmill" The Oregonian, 02/22/1916 and Silverton by Gus Frederick)
