Caption	Sometime between about 1907 and 1912, a photographer documented this summertime event in Kent, Washington, and made it into a postcard. Crowds line the sidewalk as a woman holding a flag leads a parade of young girls through an archway of greenery hung with a banner that says WELCOME. A boy dressed as Uncle Sam marches at the end. The flags and clothing suggest that this was Independence Day.
